How to Use Cloud Storage Feature for Uploading Videos to OneStream?

Importing Video Files From Cloud Storage Platforms





To use the cloud storage feature, you must be subscribed to a paid plan.

Method-1


Click on Upload button from the top right.



To proceed, click the Upload from cloud storage button in the pop-up window and select the desired cloud storage platform from the drop-down menu. In this article, we will use Dropbox as an example.



A pop-up for sign-in will appear. Sign in to your Cloud Storage platform's account.

After signing in, select your file to upload and click Choose.



Your selected file will be displayed under Queued video files. Click Start Upload to proceed.



To upload another file, click on the "Upload from device" or "Upload from cloud storage" button, depending on your preferred method.

To remove the selected file, simply hover over the file and click on the "Discard" option.



The file will be fetched directly from your selected cloud storage platform, and uploading will start. You will be able to see the progress.



The window can be minimized, and the upload will continue in the background.

Method-2


Click on the Videos option from the left-hand sidebar.



Click on Cloud Storage.



Click the Cloud Storage button and select the desired cloud storage platform from the drop-down menu.



A pop-up for sign-in will appear. Sign in to your Cloud Storage platform's account. After signing in, select your file to upload and click Choose.



Your selected file will be displayed under Queued video files. Click Start Upload to proceed.



The file will be fetched directly from your selected cloud storage platform, and uploading will start. You will be able to see the progress.
