To stream live a video to Instagram from your OneStream account, you need a third party app like Instafeed.

Before you begin

Use portrait videos. Landscape videos will not appear correctly on Instagram.
Instagram allows a maximum stream time of 4 hours per video.

||| Important: OneStream does not own or have developed Instafeed. So, if you find issues with it, please contact their support directly for help.

Steps to configure

Get the Sync Secret URL from Instafeed

Open Instafeed and enter your Instagram username & password.
Copy SYNC SECRET URL (You will need to paste this sync secret URL in step 3 below)

Setup your Instagram account on OneStream

Go to OneStream dashboard and on the sidebar click Accounts
Click Add Account

How to re-authenticate OneStream

Follow these steps if your live stream failed due to Facebook permissions error or expected Facebook Pages or Groups do not show up when you try to connect Facebook social accounts.

Steps to re-authenticate OneStream with Facebook

Click your avatar on top right.
Click Account Settings.

Scroll down and click ** RE-AUTHENTICATE ONESTREAM** button.

Click Re-Authenticate confirmation.

Now, to complete the Re-authentication process, click Allow Permissions.

Enter your Facebook password.
Click Log In.

Choose with whom you want to share posts created via OneStream and press OK. You can choose public and later change it from OneStream dashboard.

Press OK again. DO NOT modify any permissions.

Add-ons are extra features that you can separately add on top of your existing subscription.
Add-ons can be purchased and cancelled anytime you want.

| For example: You have basic plan ($10) that allows you to stream for 15 min per video and you want to increase stream time to 30 min, you can simply purchase 15 min of extra stream time for $10 without needing to upgrade to Standard plan ($45). Your monthly bill would become $15 and all other features of basic plan will remain intact.

How to apply Add-ons/Extras

Choose your desired add-on and hit Apply button.

Click Apply again on the pop up window.

Facebook Tags

On Facebook the tags appear along with video description. The tags remain available after the streaming has finished.

YouTube Tags

On YouTube tags appear only when the video is live. To view the tags click the Live Stream tab in OneStream dashboard and click your live stream. It will take you straight to your live stream on YouTube. Click Edit Video under the video.

Here you can see the tags that are associated with your live video.
