Last updated on Aug 05, 2026

Having trouble sharing your screen in OneStream Live Studio? Follow these quick troubleshooting steps to check your browser, system permissions, and screen-sharing settings.

Check your operating system and browser

Windows

  • Make sure your browser is updated.

  • Disable ad blockers and unnecessary browser extensions.

  • Try using a different browser if the issue persists.

Google Chrome is recommended for OneStream Live Studio.

Mac

  • Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security.

  • Select Screen & System Audio Recording.

  • Enable permission for your browser, such as Google Chrome.

  • Restart your browser.

Check the Window You Want to Share

  • If the application is in full-screen mode, exit full screen.

  • Switch to Windowed or Full Window mode.

  • Open screen sharing again and select the application window.

Additional Troubleshooting

  • Refresh or restart your browser.

  • Close other screen-sharing applications.

  • Check your internet connection.

  • Close unnecessary applications running in the background.

  • Try sharing your entire screen instead of a specific window.

  • Leave and rejoin the Studio session.

  • Restart your computer and try again.

If it doesn't, there may be compatibility issues between your camera and the browser. Consider contacting the camera manufacturer.

If the issue continues after completing these steps, contact OneStream Live Support for further assistance.
