How to Set Up the Stream Player?

OneStream Live Stream Player is an embeddable player that lets you generate an embed code and place your live stream directly on your own website. With it, you can deliver your broadcast to viewers on your site while keeping the stream experience simple, branded, and easy to access. ::tabs:: ::tab: Web App:: Follow the steps below to set up the Stream Player on the OneStream Live web app: Steps: Access the Stream Player - From the left sidebar, click Stream Players. Stream Player - Click + New Player to create a new stream player. New Player Player Preview - A Stream Player window will open. - Enter a name for your player and click Save. - Preview how your player will appear to viewers. app-development.onestream.live Customize Your Stream Player Use the options available in the right-side panel to customize your stream player's appearance, controls, chat, and access settings. Player Options - Click Player Options from the right panel to customize your player: - Controls: Toggle features like Play, Volume, Progress Bar, and Fullscreen. - Background: Enable and upload a custom background image. - Player Style: Select a theme (Dark or Light). Stream Player - Player Options Chat Settings - Enable Chat to interact with your audience in real time. - Choose chat position: Left, Right, or Bottom. Stream Player - Chat Settings Access Settings Control who can view your stream: - Password Protection: Restrict access with a password. How to Schedule Streams on Stream Players?

This guide shows you how to transform passive schedules into a powerful hype machine that guarantees a packed house for every single broadcast. ::tabs:: ::tab: Web App:: To live-stream on Your Stream Players, follow these steps: Steps: Pre-Recorded: - From your dashboard, click Pre-recorded Stream. - Click Add Videos and select a video from: - Device (upload from computer) - OSL Storage (your OneStream library) - Cloud Storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.). - Select the content and click Continue. - Enable the Stream Player by turning the toggle ON. - Click Save Changes. - Add the stream details and click Continue. - Click Schedule Broadcast. Encoder Streaming: - From your dashboard, click Encoder Streaming. - Enter your broadcast details (Title, Description, Tags). - Click Set Destinations, then choose your destination. - Enable the Stream Player by turning the toggle ON. - Click Save Changes. - Copy the Stream Key and Server URL. - Paste the details into your encoder and start streaming or schedule for later.
