Access the chat directly from the Stream Player to interact with viewers, respond to messages, and stay engaged in real time.
Web App
To set up the chat in the Stream Player using the web app, follow these steps:
Steps:
- From the left sidebar, click Stream Players.
- Click + New Player.
- On the right, select Chat, then enable Show Chat.
Chat will now be displayed on your Stream Player.
Mobile App
To access the chat in the Stream Player using a mobile app, follow these steps:

- From the left sidebar, click Stream Players.
- Click + New Player.
- From the bottom, select Chat.
- Enable Show Chat.
