How to Troubleshoot OneStream Live Connectivity Issues with Firewalls?
Using OneStream Live with a Firewall
When using a protected connection of work or when using a work-provided device, certain privacy measures block the connections such as Firewall or Proxy, etc. For OneStream Live to work properly certain factors need to be taken:
Disabling firewall through through Windows/PC:
- Open the Start menu. Search Control Panel and click on the result.
- Click on System and Security.
- Click Windows Defender Firewall.
- On the left side bar, Click Windows Defender Firewall.
- Check the box to turn Turn off Windows Defender Firewall (not recommended) for your current network type, and click OK.
Disabling firewall through MacOS:
- Click the Apple menu at the top left of your screen, and choose System Settings
- Click on Network option at the menu bar and choose Firewall
- Toggle off the option of Firewall to make the Status Inactive.
