How to Go Live on Facebook Group using OneStream Live?

Going Live on Facebook Group





Open the OneStream Live dashboard and click Add Social Platform.



Click on the Facebook Group button.



Enter the name of your Facebook Group and select Auto Detect under Choose Platform.



Visit https://www.facebook.com/live/create.

From the left-hand sidebar, select your desired group and click on Go Live.

You can either go live right now or later.

Copy the stream key.



Make sure the persistent key is toggled off from the advanced settings.

Copy Stream Key from Facebook Live Producer and paste it into OneStream custom RTMP social account settings.

Click Connect.



Once the Facebook Group is connected, you can schedule pre-recorded videos or go live in Real-time or through OneStream Live Studio

The stream will be sent to Facebook live producer at the set date & time automatically.

In order to publish the stream to your Facebook Group, you must click the Go Live button. The stream will be live on your Facebook Group and visible to group members.



If you want the stream to be automatically get published on your Facebook group without you having to manually press Go Live button we suggest you create an event in your Facebook Group.

Facebook will now automatically remove your Livestreams from their storage after 30 days. Learn more about the updated policy
