How to Live stream on Kick using OneStream Live?
Live Streaming on Kick
If you want to stream to Kick then you would need to set up custom RTMP social account.
Log in to your Kick account and locate your avatar at the top-right corner.
From the pop-up menu, select the Creator Dashboard option.
From the right-side bar, click on the Edit Stream Info button to add the stream details.
Input the desired title for your streams, pick a category, and save these settings by clicking on Save button.
Next, open the Settings drop down menu on the left sidebar and select the Stream key option.
Copy both the Stream URL and Stream Key to connect your Kick account with OneStream.
Connection with OneStream
From OneStream homepage, click Social Platforms, then select Add Social Platform and Connect.
Click on Custom RTMP.
Give your Kick account a name of your choice, for example Kick Channel, Kick Live etc.
Choose your destination platform. If you cannot find it from drop down list choose Custom.
In Server URL field Paste Server or RTMP URL that is provided by Kick. It will start with rtmp:// or rtmps://. If you choose a destination other than Custom this field will be pre-filled with the correct URL.
Kick's RMTP URL is not a standard one and while connecting it with OneStream Live via Custom RTMP, please add /live at the end of the URL
Paste Stream Key in the Stream key field which will also be provided by Kick.
If you wish, modify live streaming ingestion parameters like FPS, Video Bitrate, Key frames etc. Leave them to default if you are not sure.
Once all the fields are filled correctly click Connect.
A pop-up would be visible indicating that you Custom RTMP account has been added successfully and now this newly configured RTMP social account will appear under listed Destinations.
Now you can schedule a pre-recorded stream or go live in real-time using OneStream Studio or any External RTMP Source on this account.
