How to Schedule RTMP Encoder Stream on YouTube Existing Event?

Creating YouTube Event



Visit YouTube Live Dashboard

Click on Schedule Stream.



Enter a Title and Description for you live stream. Change the category. Set privacy, thumbnail, and other settings if you wish and then click on done.



Your upcoming stream will appear under scheduled streams.



Scheduling RTMP Stream on YouTube Existing Event



Click the Create Stream button on your OneStream dashboard.



Choose Connect OBS, Zoom, etc.

Ideal Configuration for Multistreaming via RTMP Encoder: Video Bitrate: 4000kbps, CBR Option Enabled (Constant Bitrate), FPS: 30, Resolution: 1280 x 720 or 1920 x 1080, Audio bitrate: 128 kbps, Keyframe Interval: 2



Add your desired stream title , description and tags. Then click on Next.



Choose YouTube as a Social Platform and select Stream to Existing YouTube Event.



Select the existing YouTube event you have scheduled and if you want to replace the existing details, you can check the boxes.

After replacing existing event details, the selected event details will override the existing event details.



Upload your Thumbnail and set your Stream privacy and click on RTMP Settings.



Use the Schedule for Later option, If you wish to schedule your stream in the future.

Stream has been scheduled successfully. Copy the Server URL and Stream Key from the OneStream RTMP Source section and paste it into your third-party streaming software (OBS, Zoom, XSpilt, etc.)



The event will automatically be closed if no stream is detected within 15 minutes of the scheduled time.
