What is OneStream's refund policy?
Refund Policy
At OneStream Live, we aim to provide a smooth and reliable streaming experience. Since subscriptions give instant access to resources and features, payments are generally non-refundable, except under specific circumstances outlined below and where required by law.
We do not provide credit (for downgraded plans), refunds, or prorated billing for subscriptions canceled after the billing period has started — whether monthly or yearly. In such cases, you will retain access until the end of your billing cycle.
Refunds may only be considered if the service fails to function due to problems on our end. Every case is reviewed individually, and OneStream Live reserves the right to issue refunds, discounts, or other considerations at its sole discretion.
Common Refund Request Reasons
1. The service did not meet your needs or expectations
If your streaming experience didn’t go as expected, please contact our support team first. They will work with you to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise. In rare cases where the stream truly fails due to reasons beyond our control, we can assist you in initiating a refund request. Please note that such cases are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and handled individually at our discretion.
2. Forgotten subscriptions
We understand it’s easy to forget about ongoing subscriptions. However, like other subscription-based services (Netflix, Amazon, etc.), we generally cannot provide refunds for unused months if your subscription remained active but unused.
3. Cancellation request issues
If you have requested cancellation in the past but it was not processed, please contact us at care@onestream.live with your OneStream account email and any supporting documentation of your prior cancellation request. We will investigate and resolve accordingly.
4. Unauthorized transactions (fraudulent payments)
If you suspect that a OneStream Live subscription was purchased without your authorization, please:
- Contact your bank or card provider immediately to initiate a fraud investigation.
- Inform your payment processor (e.g., PayPal, Stripe) about the unauthorized charge.
- Email us at care@onestream.live or reach out to us on Live chat with the transaction details so we can assist.
Process to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund:
- Send an email to care@onestream.live.
- Include your OneStream account login email, the reason for your request, and any supporting details (e.g., invoices, proof of cancellation, or error screenshots).
- Our concerned team will review your case and respond with the outcome.
