How to Live stream on an Existing YouTube Event via Custom RTMP?

Connecting an Existing YouTube Event with OneStream Live via Custom RTMP



Visit YouTube Live Dashboard

Enter a Title and Description for your live stream. Change the category. Set privacy, thumbnail, and other settings if you wish. Click Done, and you will be redirected to the event details page.



Toggle on the Enable auto-start button under Additional settings. In the Stream Settings section, you will see your YouTube RTMP URL and Stream key.



Go to the OneStream Live dashboard and click the Add Social Platform button.



Select Custom RTMP.



Give your custom RTMP event a name. Copy the Stream URL and Stream key from YouTube to this social destination.



Scroll down and change the Video Bitrate value to 3500, Key Frames to 2, Audio Bitrate to 128, FPS to 30/60.



Click the Connect button. The YouTube event will be connected with OneStream Live as a custom RTMP account.



Now you can schedule your streams on this account and they will go live on your YouTube existing event.
