How to Embed a Stream on a Website?
Types of Embed Player
OneStream offers two types of Embed players for embedding live streams on your own website.
The first type is the Universal Embed Player, which automatically broadcasts all events. The Universal embed player is a permanent place for all your events. You can embed the player on your website, and every event you stream will show up there automatically unless you decide otherwise.
The second type is the Unique Embed Player, which allows users to embed individual scheduled events separately. Each event is associated with a distinct embed code, and the player will solely display the scheduled stream without any other content.
Embedding Universal Embed player
On the Home page, locate the three dots icon corresponding to the desired stream and click on it.
Click on Embed Stream.
Click on the Universal Player and turn on the toggle.
Copy the embed code containing the iFrame tag and paste it onto your website.
If multiple streaming events are ongoing, only the most recently initiated stream will be displayed on the Universal Embed Player.
Embedding Unique Embed Player
If multiple events are live streaming, copy the unique embed code of each event individually to embed multiple streams on your website.
On the Home page, locate the three dots icon corresponding to the desired stream and click on it.
Click on Embed Stream.
Click on Event and turn on the toggle.
Locate and click the Copy button to retrieve the embed code with the iFrame tag. Paste this code onto your website for integration.
