What are Layouts in OneStream Live Studio?

Dynamic Layouts in Live Studio allow you to arrange your video feeds, guests, and media elements in a professional layout. Dynamic layouts allow you to easily switch between different screen arrangements, highlight speakers, and create an engaging live streaming experience.

To customize a dynamic layout in OneStream Live Instant Studio, follow these steps:

Enter Studio

Invite Attendees

  • Once guests join the session, click Add to Stage to display them on the stream.

  • Select a layout from the options above the control panel to apply it.

  • Use the Mobile icon to adjust layouts for mobile screens.

  • Customize layouts by enabling/disabling gaps and applying circular styles.

Layouts can be applied when there are multiple participants on screen or external media is shared.

Layouts and Their Limitations:

Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Landscape & Portrait Highlights a main source with smaller participant views. Up to 6 (Rectangular), 8 (Circular)
Grid Landscape & Portrait Displays multiple participants equally on the screen. Up to 12 (Rectangular with margins), 9 (without margins), 3 (Circular)
Cinema Landscape & Portrait Provides a cinematic widescreen layout for presentations and events. Up to 11 (Rectangular), 8 (Circular)
Reels Landscape & Portrait Shows the main content along with additional participant views. Up to 11 (Rectangular), 6 (Circular)
Highlights Landscape Emphasizes important speakers or content by enlarging them. Up to 13 participants
