How to setup a Payment method as Primary and Backup?

A Primary payment method is the payment method that processes all your payments automictically. However, a Backup payment method is one that you can use if your primary payment method fails due to any issues.


Setting up a Backup payment method:



To set up a backup payment method, you need to follow the simple steps listed below:

Click on Avatar on the top right of your dashboard.

Click Account Settings.



Click Go to Billing.



Click Payment Methods.



Click Add New



Enter your backup credit/debit card details or select PayPal as your backup payment method and click the Add button.



To set up this newly added card as your backup payment method, select the 'Backup' option and click the Update button.



This newly added payment method will be set up as your backup payment method, and you can use it for future purchases when your transaction via the primary payment method fails.

You can also select the 'Primary option' to set this new payment method as your Primary method. Also, you can click the 'Skip' button, which will draft this new payment method, and you can remove or set this as a primary or backup payment method whenever you want.

You can change your backup payment method to your primary payment method at any time by completing the steps outlined below:

Click on Avatar on the top right of your dashboard.

Click Account Settings.



Click Go to Billing.



Click Payment Methods.



To set your backup payment method as your primary payment, select your 'Backup' payment method.



Click Set as Primary.



Click Confirm.



Once you click the Confirm button, the previously selected Backup payment method will become your primary payment method.
