Going live on ViewStub using recorded video via OneStream

To live stream videos to ViewStub via OneStream, you will need to create an Event on ViewStub and connect it using the stream key for your event.

Getting ViewStub Event Stream Key

Go to ViewStub Account Hub and click Create Event.



Add Event Name and Event URL will be created automatically. Click on Publish to proceed.



After creating the event where you wish to stream, click on Event Media.



Click on New Live Stream or Upload and add your media details. Remember to select Live Stream under Media Type.





Once the live stream in the media playlist is set up, then click on Setup Stream. It will take a few minutes to setup the stream server.



Stream key and Stream URL will be generated on the right under the chat box. Copy the Stream Key. This stream key and stream URL will be used to configure ViewStub to OneStream.

Configuring ViewStub with OneStream

Click Add Account on the sidebar.

Choose ViewStub from the list of social account to connect.



Paste the Stream Key that was copied in step 6 above. And select the ViewStub Server URL from the option provided.

Click Connect to OneStream button.



Now you can schedule pre-recorded streams or go live in real-time using OneStream Studio or any Third-party RTMP Source.
