How to live stream on Steam?

Configure Steam for gaming via Custom RTMP
Steam strictly requires video with 16:9 resolution i.e 720p (1280x720) or 1080p (1920x1080)
Go to your Stream account as you need to get Server URL and Stream Key from Steam. For that, join Store Broadcast Beta group. It's required for streaming on Steam.

After joining the group, go to Steam Setup Page.
Copy Upload Token from Stream and Paste to Stream Key field in OneStream.

Go to OneStream Dashboard and click Accounts > Add Account.
Click Steam button.

Give your Stream social account a name.
Paste Upload Token/Stream Key in the Stream Key field.
Click Connect to OneStream.

Now you can schedule a pre-recorded stream or go live in real-time using OneStream Studio or any Third-Party RTMP Source.
Server URL is automatically chosen. But you can edit it to suit your needs.
Additional Steam Settings
Public access for viewers can be enabled so you can get your game to the communities. To change the permissions, go to the Steam Setup Page, scroll down to Broadcast Permissions.

Before you can stream your games through Steam, you have to set up the broadcast functionality. This has to be done through the Steam client before you start playing a game.
To set that, go to Steam Client > Settings > Broadcasting > Privacy setting > Choose Anyone can watch my games

Broadcast URL
To fetch the URL where your stream will be hosted:
Go to Broadcasting to Steam section. Click here.
Click Your Broadcast URL under Quick Links on the right side.
